Summertime Sangria

Ingredients:

 

  • 1 orange in sliced pieces
  • 1 bottle of red wine
  • 1 bottle of rose wine
  • 1/2 of a glass of brandy
  • 3 red apples in sliced pieces
  • 2 peeled pomegranates
  • 1/2 liter of iced, fresh orange juice with ice
  • 1 cinnamon stick

Method:

 

In the bottom of a big jar place the slices of orange and with a wooden spoon press them so that they can bring their juices out. Add the alcohol drinks of the recipe, cover and leave them in the fridge for about 1 hour. One hour later, add the rest of the fruits and the fresh orange juice and leave once more in the fridge for about 40 minutes.

Serve with ice and wooden sticks.


TIP : The red wine is the major ingredient of the sangria and the reason is its name that comes from the Spanish word “sangre” that means “blood”
